As soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I'd need to find a labor/ delivery and postpartum doula. My husband and I began our search and found Cloe's profile that noted her years of experience. During our initial interview with Cloe we immediately knew she was a perfect fit for us. I had so many fears surrounding childbirth and knew I wanted someone I trusted in my corner. Towards the end of my third trimester I was pressured into scheduling an induction, Cloe was so helpful in explaining the possible pros and cons and helping me make an informed decision. Cloe helped me feel confident in my choice to push a possible induction to 41 weeks (as opposed to 40 weeks which mt doctor was pushing for). I fortunately went into labor naturally before then and during my labor Cloe was an incredible resource for me as well as an advocate. Cloe provided so much information in language we could understand and made me feel so supported and comfortable during a very difficult labor. Cloe also helped me advocate for myself to the doctors at the hospital when I was having issues with my epidural and gave me the confidence to trust my own instincts. Following the birth of our daughter Cloe was with us as our postpartum doula, spending three nights a week with us for the first 6 weeks. Cloe also provided daytime support when my husband returned to working, giving me such a necessary reprieve. Cloe felt like a member of our family, spending time with us when arriving to our house and answering all of our questions regarding our newborn. She gave us a much needed break and treated our baby with so much love and care and provided me with so much emotional support. Cloe was a friend and an incredible resource during such a massive life transition. I would recommend Cloe to anyone and everyone, I can't imagine having gone through this experience without her.
