With my first pregnancy I had an awesome Labor & Delivery nurse who had worked as a midwife and was so supportive and knowledgeable. I knew there was a chance I might not get so lucky again and did not want to take the risk.
From the time I signed a contract all through labor and even now in recovery Hailey has been such a gem. Checking in on me regularly and providing me with a wealth of information through the whole process. She was so encouraging and very hands-on with massage/ counter pressure to aid in pain management and positioning to help speed up labor.
I felt heard, validated, and so supported as she helped to advocate for me in following my wishes through the birth plan. If you are pregnant or know someone who is I would totally encourage them to use Devoted Doula Services! So worth it to have a guaranteed support person by your side!
