As a first-time mum, I had a great experience working with the dedicated team. When searching for a birth doula, I found Cherish on this website with very high reviews. So I immediately scheduled a zoom video with her. Out of three doulas that we interviewed, she was the best. In addition, two previous clients, one a referral from Cherish and the other found in a local Facebook group, gave very high recommendations, so I decided to hire her. After changing my delivery method to a C-section, I converted the service from birth doula to postpartum doula. Cherish and Sheilena came to my home as night doulas 2-3 times per week during the first four weeks after my C-section. They were professional and incredibly helpful, taking care of the baby, assisting with breastfeeding, and supporting my husband and me. They taught me numerous techniques to calm the baby, improve my milk supply, and proper breastfeeding positions. Most importantly, they provided vital emotional support for my husband and me during this significant transition. I also faced challenges with baby latching, and they tirelessly tried various methods to help. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend their service to all the parents out there.
