I had always thought that hiring a doula wasn't necessary because I could just get support from my spouse or midwives. While this is true, I got more than I ever imagined hiring Sofia for this pregnancy. She helped me mentally and emotionally prepare for my birth, and kept me thinking positive even when complications arose.
Sofia was incredibly intuitive during my pregnancy and birth. She knew when to step in and encourage me and gave me complete peace of mind knowing that I was supported and capable of achieving the birth I hoped for.
The entire process would not have gone as smooth if it wasn't for her, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
