Miss Claudia was with us since the day we confirmed she would be our Doula. Her visits before having the baby provided a lot of information and confidence. She gave us excersise to do with my husband to provide better positioning for the baby. She helped me write my Birth plan, gave me lots of information about vaccines and she was there to support us. As a Christian couple, it meant a lot she shared our faith. During my last weeks, we lost our dog, and even for that, she was there giving us the support we needed.
My labor started at 4 am. We called her then, and she was at home with us. During the 18 hours of labor, Miss Claudia was on my side nonstop, providing not only peace, and help but love to me and my husband. She never left my side, she made sure I was managing the pain and the contractions. We made a play list and God was with us present in that room.
Words can't describe how important she was in all my labor and delivery but without her, I wouldn't be able to have a natural birth without medications. I owe her my amazing experience.
