Simply put, Mignon was a wonderful doula! This was my first experience with a doula, we interviewed several and she was every bit as awesome as she was in our interview. Even though this was our second child, it had been over six years and she was a godsend! What I loved most about her beautiful and warm spirit. She had a calm about her just made everything okay. She went out of her way to not just for our baby, but also for me as a mother. She was very resourceful in helping me come up with different strategies from diaper care to breast-feeding and baby products. What was even more amazing was that she literally put together our entire nursery! I continue to look around the room and thank God for her. It was super organized and a wonderful place to celebrate the birth of our child and now a warm place for him to be. She even offered additional services I didn’t even use, but I can see be invaluable to families including massages and making lactation goodies. She was also incredibly helpful in the things you just don’t have time for after giving birth like ensuring that the clothes were always clean and folded and the baby bottles and dishes were also done. Her all around, can do it spirit just made those first two months as seamless as the “fourth trimester” could be. She was so good that I still maintain much of what she started to this day. I would highly recommend Mignon to any new parents and definitely even second time parents. Thank you Mignon for being so phenomenal!
