Michelle was an incredible support during birth, she was calm and nurturing and exactly the presence I needed. You can tell she has done this before and her confidence gave me confidence. I had a non-medicated birth and I can't imagine how it would have gone without her. She was able to distract me and offer helpful suggestions. I ended up having amost all of my labor at home with her, with a planned transfer to the birthing center. The pre-birth support was great as well, we came up with multiple birth plans that I felt very confident about. Post-birth she came to visit me and again was a calm and supportive presence.
I HIGHLY reccomend Michelle as a doula, I think her services are well worth the cost.
