Liz was absolutely amazing! We recently had our first baby and the labor and delivery did not go as we had planned or hoped for in our birthing plan. We had wanted a natural birth at a birthing center, and ended up with a cesarean at a hospital after 3 days of labor. Liz was our only constant comfort. She was so helpful early in my labor! She came to my house and walked me through some comfort measures and helped my husband get comfortable with support techniques such as hip squeezes. She stayed with us throughout my labor at the birthing center and gave me continuous support so my husband could take a much needed break. She came with us as we transitioned to the hospital and was so supportive as we had to make some difficult decisions. During the procedure she was not allowed in the operating room, but she stayed with my family to offer them support which my mother really appreciated. In every setting we were so thankful Liz was there. I don’t know how we would have gotten through it without her! Whatever your history or birthing plan, I could not recommend Liz more!
