The support was amazing. It was a relief to see Elysabeth every week at our house especially since my husband had to go back to work so quickly. She was kind, caring, compassionate and extremely helpful. If I needed help around the house so I could hold my baby or nap, she would clean, do dishes, laundry, fold laundry. As a first time mom, it was wonderful to have someone to help ME, who didn't get their feelings hurt if they couldn't hold the baby, and who I felt comfortable being my true self with during the first 12 weeks of postpartum. Elysabeth was an amazing support system as a postpartum doula in our house. It was one of the best decisions we made to get a postpartum doula as first time parents. We will be hiring her again if/when we have a second baby.
