We were so overjoyed to have Jean in our corner for the birth of our daughter. As a second time mom, I immediately appreciated how at ease Jean made me. I was worried and anxious imagining a hopeful VBAC after a disappointing c section during the height of early COVID with our first. With so much patience, knowledge and grace, we walked through the physical and emotional range of experiences and considerations to put together my goals for a peaceful birth and postpartum experience rooted in agency. She showed how much she values her work and the role of family with such comforting advice about bringing a newborn home with a 3 yr old. She was available and consistently accessible for any and all questions, shared resources and links like a guided birth meditation and didn't wince when I sent graphic photos and emotional texts at all hours of the day and night in a 6 day predermal labor. Jean ultimately was right there for pushing holding one of my legs and helping the nurse, OB and my husband as a critical part of the always on care chair team. We highly recommend working with Jean!
