Although this was my second pregnancy, I was faced with a lot of emotional anxieties adding on to a very rough pregnancy. Between all my health concerns and personal issues, one thing that hurt the most is not having a mother figure to support me through this pregnancy. However, that anxiety went away when I met Angela. She was very great at explaining to my husband and I about the different stages of pregnancy and delivery. She taught us different labor managing mechanisms, the medical terminology of the different labor stages leading on to when it's time to push, and most of all she provided emotional support. She vocalized for me during delivery as if I was her own daughter. I can't imagine having another child without having her with me through the process. She become more than a doula to our family. She became the motherly support god knew I needed.
To the people who believe in holistic measures, Angela also believes in essential oils and calling music , and other natural resources to use during delivery . She is the best!
