She provided a judgement-free space where we were able to discuss stages of labor and expectations. Heather's humility and openess was complemented by deep knowledge from prior experience supporting a variety of birthing scenarios. On the day of the acutal birth Heather's intuition and kindness made her an essential part of my birth team. She did a great job anticipating my needs in a way that not only supported me directly, but supported my husband, allowing him to remain by my side while she fetched cool towels, water, and anything else I couldn't have thought to ask for in the throws of labor. My first birth was quick, unmedicated and all around positive thanks to Heather's support!
