Michelle has been such a huge help. She was my postpartum doula for our first baby. Postpartum recovery was a big shock to me and my partner. We couldn't have gotten through it without Michelle. She helped me figure out what was normal and validated all my feelings. She was also really helpful in validating my partner's feeling - this was a service we weren't expecting to need but my partner is just as happy as I am that we got a postpartum doula. It's an adjustment for the whole family! Michelle made sure I did things for my physical recovery and my mental health. This included sitting with me as I talked through my birth story, cleaning up around the house, feeding our baby, going on a walk, etc. She quickly became a friend and we're so sad she won't be stopping by every week anymore. If we ever have another baby, Michelle will be our first call!
