Danielle is professional, competent and intuitive. As a first time mom, I had no idea what to expect during labour, so I hired Danielle as my birth doula. Danielle is confident in her abilities and kind in her approach. She helped me prepare for labour in our initial interview, introducing me to exercises and asking questions to prompt my thinking about a birth plan. I felt prepared when Labour Day finally came. Danielle arrived at the house before I was dilated enough to go to the birth centre. She put my worried family at ease. She knew when to call the midwife and what to do when my contractions became more intense. Danielle has MAGICAL massage hands! She encouraged me and helped my husband feel supportive during the labour process (it was his first time too!). I highly recommend Danielle as a doula if you want a positive, incredible birth experience like I had.
