Our experience with Char was nothing short of phenomenal. We were new to the area, pregnant with our first baby, and wanted to hire a Doula who could also provide advice on local practitioners. We could not have found a more experienced, well connected advocate. She knew my doctors and all the labor & delivery staff at the hospital intimately. At every appointment when our team would hear we had hired Char, they’d compliment her profusely. We also loved Char’s communication style. Prompt, direct, and extremely respectful of our wishes and personalities. Never over stepping only providing immense resources and support. Labor and delivery itself could not have been more smooth. We were in touch in the days leading up as soon as I was having signs. She checked in regularly and guided us through each phase. She arrived at the hospital within minutes of us asking for her support and immediately provided the comfort and positivity to guide us through the rest of the birth, and sweet first hour with our little one. After delivery she promptly sent us an extremely helpful play by play of the details of the delivery, and followed up with us a week later with a much appreciated check in and advice. We are so grateful to Char and would hire her again in a heartbeat.
