Hiring Rachel as our postpartum doula was an integral part of my recovery and healing process. Not only did she make sure we were well fed(she is a great cook!), our house was picked up and laundry done, but she also is a great listener. Postpartum hormones are tricky and talking to her felt like I was talking to a trusted friend. She is warm, accepting and gives great advice!
She was excellent at finding her way around the house with very little need for guidance. The days she was at our home were the most restful in those first weeks! She also invited my 6 year old cook with her and had a tea party, per my kiddos request!
We also hired her as our birth photographer for my homebirth. She did a magical job capturing all the special moments; while looking at the images, I can really feel the raw emotion behind them. Truly pictures to cherish forever! She blended in seamlessly with my birth team.
Would recommend her to anyone looking to hire a holistic, warm and supportive doula and a lovely birth photographer!
