From the initial moment of inquiry, Michelle was prompt in returning my call. Her tone is very calm, sincere and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and safe with Michelle from the start. I was explained clearly of what to expect with her services and was excited to have Michelle as my first doula experience when we had our first face to face meeting. Upon the day of my delivery, I had contractions starting at 2:50am. I called Michelle and she answered the phone with reassuring tone that she was there for me and to notify her once I leave to the North Houston Birth Center. I arrived at 3:35am and Michelle arrived at 4am. She was proactive in helping me adjust and position for the delivery all while keeping my breathing in check. My son was born at 5:03am. The experiece with Michelle was great! She allowed my husband to be my support while still making me feel confident. Her encouragment was there when I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a Doula.
