Aleca was amazing! She cared for our son from the day he came home from the hospital until he was 18 weeks old. We were heisitant at first to work with a postpartum doula. We thought having a stranger in our home while immediately postpartum would be awkard or intrusive - Aleca was anything but. Each night when she arrived, she did a check-in with us on how the day went. It was like having a mini baby class every night. She always had great tips on how to navigate whatever we were experiencing at the moment. She was also available by phone/text during the day when I had random questions or concerns. In addition to her amazing knowledge base, it's hard to put a price tag on having the ability to get solid sleep while knowing your newborn is well cared for. Our son was sleeping 12hrs through the night but end of her contract. I'm confident that had we not had Aleca those first few months our son would not have had such a solid start to life. We are already planning to use her for our next baby!
