Lexi was our doula for my natural childbirth experience. She really took the time to get to know my husband and I, to the point that she would be able to communicate for me in a healthcare setting with my complete trust in her. My goal was to (mostly) labor at home, and give birth naturally. When we arrived to the hospital I was 9 cm dilated and my daughter was born shortly after. Lexi knew based on my presentation when to go to the hospital. She prevented a lot of discomfort that I would have experienced by laboring in the hospital.
