My husband and I decided to hire a doula for my second pregnancy as my first labor and delivery experience was challenging. Heidy was knowledgeable, supportive and a provided a steady and calming energy throughout my pregnancy and childbirth. I really wanted to have unmedicated labor and I dont think I would have achieved that without Heidy's support. It made all the difference and I had a completely different experience than my first childbirth. Heidy's postpartum visit was also super helpful and even though I am not a first time mom, I still had a lot of questions that she was able to address and help me with.
