Not only did she help support and carry me through my first delivery, she empowered me to do it fully unmedicated and was a calming presence through every step of my pregnancy - affirming me and reminding me the capability and strength of my body. She helped me navigate high BP, breeched babies and strep tests throughout my pregnancy, and not to mention so many post delivery complications. She was always so informative and helpful with all the questions of a first time mom. She would thoroughly check in from the moment we decided to work together until even a couple months after my daughters birth. I am so thankful I found Maria, the support and advocacy she was for me during birth and PP was exactly what I needed as a young first time mom who had the dream to deliver naturally.
