She helped me navigate a change in health care provider, supported me in letting go of my biggest fears around delivery, and got me to a place where I felt emotionally ready and excited for my next birth.
When a complication arose at the very end of my pregnancy, Beth helped me work through a challenging decision on whether to move forward with a c-section. She didn't push me in one direction or another, and I felt truly supported in whatever option I chose. I ended up going ahead with the c-section, and I was so grateful to have had Beth as a sounding board and a support through one of the most difficult decisions of my life.
After the baby came, Beth's postpartum visits were a source of joy and relief. Having a new baby can be isolating and those visits left me feeling connected and hopeful.
Beth is everything you would hope for in a doula -- she listens, cares, and makes genuine connections with birthing parents and partners. I cannot recommend her enough!
