My husband and I had an amazing experience with Lizzy! We were first time parents so everything was very new to us in terms of pregnancy, labor, postpartum. As soon as we met with Lizzy we knew we had to have her along side our journey. Lizzy met with us a few times before the birth to educate us and prepare us both for our baby's birth. The days anticipating my due date, she checked in on me almost daily. My baby was born on her due date and after my water broke at home, Lizzy joined us at the hospital. I must say the atmosphere completely changed after she arrived there. She set the mood with tea lights, soft music, made sure I was hydrating and throughout the whole birth she talked to me with the most calming words. She really was advocating for me during my whole labor. She took the most precious pictures and videos I will cherish for the rest of my life. My postpartum journey had a couple bumps and she was checking on me daily and always available to talk to me about what was going on. She also helped me give my daughter her very first bath which it was so special. Lizzy was my doula, but I know I made a friend for life. I am so very thankful for her, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a doula!
