What can I say? I wouldn't want to give birth without Marybeth by my side! This was my second time having her with me.
She was present for my previous birth - fully unmedicated - and it was only because of her nurturing & reassuring presence that I was able to accomplish what I did! With this birth, I was not planning for it to be unmedicated this time, but I knew that I still wanted marybeth. She is not only the support you need for an unmedicated birth... she is the one you need no matter how your birth goes! She is very knowledgeable and understanding of birth, she helped me make some big decisions during this last birth (which actually ended up being an unplanned c-section), she is fully present & makes you feel like her only focus is YOU the whole time, no matter how many hours that ends up being, she knows the staff so well & is the perfect person to have as an "in between" between you & staff
During my c-section, she held & stroked my hand, she helped distract me during the unpleasant/uncomfortable parts, she reassured me & made me feel like an incredibly strong mama each step of the way, she even took pictures of my baby right after birth to show me straight away what he looked like.
No matter how many times you've given birth, or what birth you'd like to have, you absolutely cannot go wrong by choosing to have MaryBeth by your side!! Even the couple of weeks leading up to birth, she was my biggest support & help with different questions and concerns I faced. She is absolutely the person you want on your team!!!
My husband, who is incredibly supportive of me & so present, agrees 100% and wouldn't want me to give birth without her on our team!
