She was so supportive of me throughout my pregnancy and the birth of my daughter, but also a huge support for my husband. My husband was so calm and hands on in supporting me while I labored at home and he knew what to do thanks to Melanie. Melanie's recommendations for prenatal health lead me to a beautiful pregnancy with practically no discomfort or complications. I stayed active, hydrated, and ate healthy as she advised and I believe that is a big reason why I had such a quick labor. Melanie was also a huge emotional support for me in the last few weeks when doctors were pushing me for induction and I was feeling really discouraged. She checked on me constantly, prayed for me, and flooded me with positivity. My baby came late but she came fast and Melanie was there to calm me, comfort me, and get me focused on what I needed to do. I cannot say enough good things about Melanie as a doula and as a friend. We were blessed to have her!
