Veronica was able to provide last-minute postpartum doula support when our original doula fell through unexpectedly. She was very responsive to us reaching out, even though it was around the Thanksgiving holidays, and was able to schedule an interview right away. Veronica is cheerful, energetic, and candid like a fun aunt figure, and that's the kind of baby care you will get with her. Her approach is not serious but more free-flowing and lighthearted, and I think that comes from her years of experience. If you are looking for a more serious, structured person/care, she may not be the best fit. She is a relational person so it helped to talk openly and candidly about small to big things around her services. Entrusting your newborn to a stranger is a daunting experience for all new parents, but Veronica felt comfortable to have in our home. She was also able to provide coverage on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which we appreciated. I highly suggest reading the contract carefully and going over any details or nuances in advance that may be unique to Veronica's services to make sure both parties are on the same page. We appreciate the support she provided during a very important time for our family and wish her the best.
