I am so grateful we found Haley. She helped my husband and I so much to feel empowered and prepared (as much as is possible) leading up to our son's birth and was the one true constant we could fall back on in the ever-changing process of labor and delivery. Haley was there with us every step of the way - helping me through the night, tag-teaming with my husband and coaching. Having an experienced , objective third-party was such a blessing when doctors or nurses would offer or bring up different interventions. Haley gave her input when asked but supported whatever we chose. She advocated for what she knew we wanted according to our birth preferences and even lobbied to be present when I ended up in an emergency c-section. These many supports and kindness are what truly sets her apart as a doula. We can't imagine living through those 36 hours without her!
