I can't express how much I recommend Roseanne as a Doula! I was very anxious going into the birth process and knew I wanted to have some sort of advocate/coach. After my sister had amazing experiences with Roseanne for her 2 babies, I know it was the perfect decision for me. After meeting Roseanne, I immediately felt supported, comforted, and more informed about my pregnancy and birth process! Not only was she the advocate in the hospital room, but throughout the later stages of my pregnancy and in preparation - mentally and physically for birth! Had I not had Roseanne with me, I 100% would have had an emergency C-Section, but Roseanne intervened (respectfully - she has great trust and partnership with all the doctors & nurses at Valley!!) and knowing my birth preferences and what was a safe alternative in the moment, she helped me to have the vaginal birth I wanted! She's not only a coach, advocate, but MAGIC! And I have so much love for fairy godmother, Ro!!!! Highly recommend especially for first time moms or if you are anxious about your birth experience and want to feel more prepared and supported in the process.
++My husband should also really be writing this review as her support/coaching was almost as much for him as it was for me :). Roseanne helped him to know what to do when during my labor and how to best support me! And we both felt like the whole experience brought us even closer as a couple because of Roseanne's awesome guidance and presence!!!
