Briana was our postpartum doula, and her visits were such a lifeline for me as a new mom. It was amazing to have someone I could trust with my baby while I took a shower or a nap, and (once I worked up to it), while I ventured out of the house alone to run an errand or get a coffee. At first, I'd feel guilty and rush home, only to find Briana had entertained the baby AND done all the household tasks on my to do list (plus some organzing I hadn't even thought of!) It was magical. By the end of our time together, she was helping me practice leaving the house with the baby too. Briana was always very warm, non-judgmental, and easy to talk to about my birth story, feeding journey, new mom questions, etc. She shares her own experiences in a way that is very reassuring and de-stigmatizing, while still centering you as the new mom. I'm very grateful for her help and support!!
