The instant we met Heather we had a connection with her, she gave off the most calming and soothing vibes and that is something we were looking for in Doula. As soon as we got to chatting my husband and I gave each other the "look" and both knew she was the one, she was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and of course again gave us the calming, everything is going to be ok feeling. We hired Heather so happily and began our visits, we felt so comfortable to have her in our home, like welcoming back a long time friend and she easily answered all our questions and if she didn't know she would get back to us with the answer which was very helpful. With her help most of our worries melted away and we felt very informed and support in our journey to parenthood. She gave us great techniques for labouring and crafted us a fantastic birth plan, she even went over lots of things we never ever thought to talk about which was great. Unfortunately when the time came I had to have an emergency C-section and things didn't go as planned. Heather was so supportive, whatever we needed she was there and willing to step in as much or as little as we wanted her. We can't recommend her enough not only as a Doula but as a person! I feel like we have made a life long friend and even almost 2 weeks out she still checks to see what need, recommendations on new born photographers, she is on it, questions on belly binding, Heathers got all the info. We truly love her and are so thankful she helped us through this journey!! Heather stans for life over here. ♥?
