My husband and I hired Liana as our doula for our first child and we would recommend her! From the first meeting, Liana asked what I wanted my birth to look like and encouraged me to consider all my options. In the weeks leading up to the due date, Liana made herself available to discuss birth plans, activities to prepare for birth and any discomforts and symptoms I was experiencing.
I felt very supported on the day our daughter was born. My labor escalated quickly and Liana was quick to respond to calls and messages about how labor was progressing. Liana met us outside the hospital and assisted me in making it up to the delivery. From there, she jumped in to support measures without asking where I needed help. When I voiced a concern about the nurse attending me, Liana graciously stepped in to request a change in my behalf.
Liana remained with me through the entire laboring process and stayed for an hour after to ensure I was recovering well. A week later I met with her again to go over any questions I had about my delivery and share tips for caring for our daughter. She's a very knowledgeable birth worker and also a lovely person to know and work with.
