Both my husband and I agree that we couldn't have had our birth go as well as it did without Tatiana! I planned to have an unmedicated birth at a birth center and was on the fence at first about whether or not we needed a doula but I'm sure glad we decided to hire one. From the moment we met Tatiana we recognized her steady, reassuring, comforting presence and knew she would be the perfect addition to our birth team. She brought so much knowledge both of ways to prepare for the kind of birth I wanted as well as during birth. I felt so much more prepared after meeting with her antepartum.
Tatiana was in regular contact with us in the weeks before my due date and then we texted with her every couple of hours the day I went into labor. She arrived to help me labor at home and immediately knew what to do both to comfort me and to help move my labor along. She also communicated with the midwives at the birth center and convinced them to check me earlier than they originally planned as she recognized I was ready to push.
Tatiana visited us at home after our birth and has been in contact at least every other day checking in on us and offering advice for the tough first weeks with a newborn.
We would absolutely hire her again! Thank you for everything Tatiana!
