But I was so scared that there wouldn’t be anything in between to help with the pain. Shannon brought so much knowledge, a strong advocate & just a peace of mind knowing that she would be there. All the research & preparing went out the door when you are actually in the moment you just can’t think or express yourself well. Shannon knew that & was always one step ahead of me. She could tell if I need water, a cool rag, a fan, different positions or just an encouraging word. I remember getting to the hospital in the height of my pain crying “I can’t do this.” She was quick to give me encouragement & push me along. My husband who was very skeptical & frugal with money said she was worth every penny. We are so thankful for all that she did to help bring our babe into the world.
