Testimonial for Britney Farmer
We were lucky enough to work with Britney as a doula for the birth of our first child. She was all around wonderful to work with and made us feel very comfortable. We had planned for an unmedicated vaginal birth and Britney had us feeling very confident and prepared for this in the weeks leading up to the birth. We then learned our son was in breech position and Britney was a fantastic support for us as we navigated the process of attempting to turn him so we could proceed with a vaginal birth. She was by our side through every step of the process including checking in daily as we attempted to turn the baby, attending our ECV in the hospital and providing valuable resources to quickly get us knowlegable about scnearios we had not planned for. We ultimately ended up giving birth via c-section and Britney was a wonderful support there as well. She prepared us for what to expect from this birth experience and was by our side before, during and after the birth, bringing comfort during this time of many unknowns. We are so thankful we had Britney with us throughout our journey and hope other families will find the same comfort in working with her.
