The thing that we appreciate most about Shannon was her presence at the birth. She radiates an experienced calmness that permeated throughout the entire process which made a world of difference for us going through our first birth. She was not afraid to go to battle for us when it came to our desires and wishes for our natural birth. She offered great encouragement during the birthing process and applied a stern tone as needed during moments when I needed it most. There was never any rush or hurry placed on me, just steadfast confidence and peace.
