I hired Heather on as my doula for my natural birth for my 2nd child, this was my first natural birth and really wanted the extra support from a doula as well a my midwives. Heather exceeded all expecations and was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very on top of commuication and scheduling our appts and her contract was straight forward and consise. Heather's personality was what made us hire her on, she aligned with us, very professional, light hearted and very nurturing! When it came to the day of the birth she arrived in a prompt manner and immediatley jumped right in to take care of me and assess the situation. I wasn't able to labor long at home so we all drove to the birth center and she was with me the entire time so my husband could take care of getting our bags up stairs etc. She stayed by my side the entire time through the birth and comforted me by reminding me to breath and other things we had talked about during our initial meetings. After the birth she was there if we needed anything as well gave us time to bond. She checked in with me during the day and throughout the week to make sure myself and the baby were doing ok. She made a postpartum visit and even brought me a heatpack. I would 110% recommened Heather as your doula if you are looking for one in the Boise/Nampa area. She exceeded our expecations and I think she will exceed yours!
