Jacquie's support made all the difference with my postpartum adjustment period. She was a tremendous help and cheerleader with breastfeeding, which I managed to (happily!) do for a year. She made sure I was eating, drinking water, and not pushing myself too hard in my recovery from an unexpected surgical delivery.
Jacquie made it easier to accept the change from being the expert in my life, to suddenly not knowing what the heck the days would bring. She helped me rebuild my confidence. AND she helped watch the baby so my husband and I could sleep, and then teach us how to get our little guy to sleep.
