Maria was an essential part of my birth experience with my first child. Maria devoted so much time to me and my needs during our prenatal meetings and even visited extra when I went a week over my due date. She brings her extensive training, resources, yoga expertise, and breastfeeding knowledge to pre and post partum visits. In the delivery room, Maria worked seamlessly with the midwife and nurse team. She always had a calm presence, but also brought strength and authority. And to top it off, she is SO organized: she took excellent notes during labor/delivery, was very proactive with scheduling meetings throughout pregnancy, checked in regularly, and just generally ran her business with such smoothness. This is not to be undersestimated when you have so much going on as a pregnant person!
