As I lay in bed with my newborn, I constantly think about my birth. I found Kelly through my sisters who used her daughter as their midwife to deliver their babies. Kelly was beyond amazing from the beginning. I was nervous almost my entire pregnancy about labor and delivery, and Kelly instantly relieved my mind. It's something about Kelly's demeanor that just feels like a fresh of breathe air. She's very calming and relaxing, which is what I needed. Any time I had a question she was there, any time I needed help getting an appointment with my midwife, she was there. She was there for me and my husband every step of the way, and I couldn't be more thankful. I don't know that I could have gotten through labor and delivery without Kelly. When I was in the thick of it, she helped me get to the finish line. She knew my birth plan, and helped me stick to it. If there's more babies in the future for my husband and I, I already know Kelly will be my doula again.
