If I could recommend Kristin as doula to every first time mother, I would. She was a 20/10. Kristin is an amazing, intelligent, hard-working and compassionate person. When the doula that I had hired fell through days before my due date, Kristin stepped in to take over and I'm forever grateful for that. She got to know me and my husband and our birth plans and preferences in a very short amount of time, and she worked hard to make us feel safe, comfortable, and understood. During my 27 hour labour and birth, Kristin was by our side tirelessly supporting my husband and I both as I laboured at home and at the hospital. She was helpful in recommending a variety of labour positions and pain management techniques, and she was always there to give me the encouragement I needed when I felt like I couldn't do it.
