We were so grateful to have Esmeralda on our birth team for the birth of our first child. We had an unmediated birth at a birth center. Esmeralda came to us around 1 am while we labored at home and then went with us to the birth center. We did lots of birth preparation but classes and literature can only prepare you so much. It was very reassuring having her with us as a constant at home and at the birth center. I really benefited from having her there, physically, mentally and spiritually. Esmeralda was very hands on and gave us the tools we needed to work through each contraction. She enabled my husband to be helpful and hands on during the labor as well. She also captured priceless photos and videos from the birth that we treasure deeply. We can't recommend her enough!
