From the first prenatal meeting, answering all of our questions up until our newborn baby was in our arms, Barbie provided unwavering support. She shows up to all of your prenatal meetings and gives you her undivided attention, just wonderful bedside manner! She is very motherly and kind. Barbie sends out easy to use online questionnaires that together you guys will use to create your birth plan which she eventually types up beautifully for you ! She is a certified yoga instructor and will help you and your birthing partner learn what exercises to do together throughout pregnancy in order to keep baby in an optimal position. (My baby was born so fast and I really believe it was thanks to these exercises!!!!) Barbie will also bring very clearly constructed handouts (how do you know when labor begins, stages of labor, etc.) to keep close by for reference. Lastly, I just have to mention how much I loved having her by my side at birth. She helped me reach my goal of an unmedicated birth. She was there with a cold cloth and sips of water without me having to ask (did not have energy or brain capacity to ask for that) which felt so nice. Barbie is the best, I love her!!!!
