Amy was a fantastic doula - she is a calming presence and really supported us leaning up to, during, and following our birth. I really appreciated how her energy would match mine and we got off to a great start as she affirmed my hospital and OB practice choices. I always felt like she had my best interest in mind, and was never trying to persuade me, but rather educate me on my options. She was a great sounding board in the months and weeks leading up to our due date as I had any pregnancy questions. When our actual birth went a bit differently than expected (don’t they all!), Amy was incredibly flexible and supportive. I’ll never forget her joining us in the recovery room and teaching me how to feed our new baby. It was a pleasure to work with her and I strongly recommend her!
