I cannot shout my prasie for April Colucci loudly enough! She stayed with us the first night we brought our daughter home from the hospital and since then, she's become family. April is deeply kind, hugely attentive, a wonderful listener and a gentle guide. Her presence in those early days and weeks - when everything is new and tender and often awkward - was such a grounding force. I felt such peace and safety and comfort knowing that she was caring for my daughter (and for me and my husband) overnight. If we have another baby, April will be the FIRST call we make - no joke!
