Christine, without a doubt made our birth. Her attention to detail, insight, and intuitive nature helped my husband and myself navigate a hospital birth while honoring our birth plan. When things shifted she was able to remind us of what was important and helped to draw the focus back to one another and our beautiful daughter. From coming to our home in the morning, being with us for the long haul at the hospital, allowing my husband to rest while she helped me change positions and massaged me during transition, she became much more than a doula, she truly became a freidn.
I will admit that after attending various birth classes I felt very prepared for my labor, I hestitated with moving forward with having a doula. As we had already met with Chrsitine we decided to continue on with the plan - in retrospect I can't imagine her not being at the birth or being our advocate. Her professionalism is unparalleed, and you can tell she knows her stuff. As someone who loves research, a plan, and covering my bases Christine provides the foundation and clarity that I didn't know I needed. I would utilize her knowledge and presence without a doubt with all my future births.
