Marie assisted in the delivery of my daughter. She was in training and offered her services complimentary to be compliant with her certification. Marie’s attention and kindness were without measure. She was supportive and beyond compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable. When I had questions, she went out of her way to answer them- or even more impressive to me- was help me find the resources to get answers neither of us had. Marie clearly explained the role of Doula and lived out the experience just as she described. She was the perfect balance of assertive and gentle and was never short of professional. My baby was breech and she spent hours with me at appointments trying every natural way we could to flip the baby without medical intervention. I wanted a drug free natural delivery and Marie was paramount in making it successful. She was supportive to not only me but my husband who was a first-time dad and anxious about the whole experience. Marie was an asset to the hospital staff and a marvelous assistant to my birthing plan.
