Wow. Where do I start. We can't imagine our experience without Michelle. We were expecting our first baby and my husband was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. We knew we should have some backup support to make the experience as smooth as possible for both of us since we had been through a lot these 9 months. Michelle answered when I called her at midnight. She showed up to the hospital so quickly and was ready to go. She helped me move through the contractions, she had great insight on how the hospital operated and how to advocate since I have no experience in this at all. She didn't take over for my husband (except when it was time to get the epidural and my husband excused himself) she helped him support me. She knew when my husband should take advantage of eating or sleeping based on the timelines she knew to expect that we had no idea about. She knew to have me change side positions to keep baby descending and helped me get in those positions. Lastly, the most priceless thing she gave us was pictures of us and baby upon his arrival into the world. A moment that can never be duplicated, caught on camera.
If you are wondering if it's worth it, stop wondering and get your credit card out. I would have paid any amount to have her all over again.
