My experience with Tia was absolutely amazing, I struggle deeply with asking for help and reaching out when I am struggling, if I don't understand something I just sit with it and wonder but with Tia she made me feel so comfortable with being able to talk to her at any point, I would text her at 4 am and get a response immediately, she came to my appointments with me, she sat down with my significant other and I and discussed what I wanted for my birth and made a document to give to the hospital when I went into labor she was 100% my advocate, especially when the nurse blew out my vein she requested a new one. I truly feel like my birth experience was amazing because of Tia. She brought a device to help with the pain and helped relieve pressure in my back when I got contractions, and she always asked permission before touching me. And her care didn't stop there she later asked how my breastfeeding was doing and when I explained I was having a hard time she offered to come to my place and help me, when coming over she brought over a chicken and asparagus meal, some chocolate chip muffins and a gatoraid, Tia was absolutely an amazing doula I couldn't have done my birth without her I hope that if I ever have another I have her there with me!!
