Testimonial for Eden Schmidt
We were lucky enough to bring Eden with us overseas, it was the best decision we made. Eden helped me decide what to pack and actuality pack it, she arrived at our home the day of our trip and helped us load up and ensure we had everything we needed. At the airport she helped with children, and ensured I had everything I needed as a 9 week post partum mother. During the flights she sat close to us and handled snacks, clothes, diapers and was an extra set of hands that we absolutely needed. Once we had arrived, she settled us into our accommodation, then set off to the store to grab everything on our grocery list and brought us back dinner. This allowed our little family time to snuggle in to our new spot without any stress. While there, I decided I wanted to try a hike, we spoke about what it would require and with Eden’s knowledge of the post partum body decided I could handle it. We took turns carrying the baby in the front pack and she helped me when I needed to stop to nurse the baby. Eden carried our water and snack then ensured I was hydrated, fed and comfortable. This was probably my favorite part of our trip looking back. While on our trip she was thoughtful, intuitive and helpful - everything we already knew about how she helped run our home and nurture our family she continued while overseas in a new environment. I will forever be so grateful for Eden and know that if we were to ever have another baby she would be our first phone call to have her come back with our family.
