I enlisted Kali as my doula for my second pregnancy with my twins. I can hardly put into words how much my family appreciates her! She helped me first figure out what I wanted for myself and my babies as far as pregnancy care and birth plans, then helped me advocate for myself when needed. She provided me with so much information to make informed choices and was a soundboard as I weighed my options. Even though she was assisting virtually I don't think she could've done anything more if she were right in front of me. The comfort she brought was great, if there was ever a question I had she would always find me some resources so that I can read and understand on my own not just word of mouth, she supported my partner and included him and heard his concerns or questions, and so much more. I could go on and on about her and how much she means to our family. This was my second pregnancy and second time hiring a doula, and Kali truly set the standard. I thought I had good support the first time but it was nothing compared to what Kali brought to the table. She will forever be my recommendation to any mom or family looking for support no matter how they plan to birth. I'm a young mom and that can be taken advantage of at time but I fully give credit to Kali and the information and support she provided for me being able to birth my twins at home the way I wanted. Can't thank her enough!
